Audio specialist Sennheiser has released two new gaming headsets: the Dolby-powered PC 323D premium headset and the entry-level PC 310.

The PC 323D is designed to put gamers in the center of the action with 7.1 surround powered by Dolby and Dolby ProLogic IIx.  The headset is designed so that PC gamers don't need to ensure they have any special internal sound card because the PC 323D comes with its own 3D G4ME1 7.1 USB sound card already installed in the headset.

Furthermore, the open-acoustic design of the PC 323D is made to the head cool for hours.  It also has a unique CircleFlex design that ensures that the ear pads rotate and adjust automatically to the gamer's head.

The headset also comes equipped with a professional noise-canceling microphone to reduce ambient noise for crystal-clear conversations.  Also, the microphone can be muted by simply raising the boom arm.

"We've made this spectacular gaming headset for gamers who seek the highest quality in surround sound combined with great wearing comfort," commented Tori Seliokas, channel manager, Telecommunications, Sennheiser.  "With the PC 323D, you don't need a full surround system at home.  This headset has you fully covered."

Sennheiser's PC 323D premium headset is available at a street price of $159.95 USD.

For PC gamers on a budget, Sennheiser has also released the PC 310 gaming headet.  Priced at $59.95, the PC 310 features Sennheiser-quality sound, a noise canceling microphone, and soft, open-acoustic ear cups.
