McKinley Park is a pillar in East Sacramento's rich heritage, dating back to 1871. When budget cuts threatened to close Clunie Community Center and the Rose Garden, members from the community stepped up and stepped in to save East Sacramento's most popular park. They need the support of local businesses.
It's time to join the effort to save Clunie Center. Whether you've checked out a book at the library, met in one of the various meeting rooms or enjoyed a jog through the park-McKinley has always been there when our families needed it. Now it's our turn to give back and show our support for this very important part of our East Sacramento community.
Sweatin' for McKinley is an opportunity for members of the community to rally around a common cause and have some fun while raising money for much needed maintenance and improvement to the building.
