The Legislature is now its final hours before adjourning for the year, but things are just getting started out on the campaign trail for Gov. Jerry Brown and his tax pitch to voters.
This week's Capitol Connection Podcast features some talk about issues percolating around the statehouse, as well as the early messaging of Brown's effort on his tax increase initiative.
Joining me are Anthony York of the Los Angeles Times and Marisa Lagos from the San Francisco Chronicle.
(And yes, you hear us chat about the prospects for changes to the California Environmental Quality Act, or CEQA. Right after this chat came word that the effort was officially over.)
