No, that title doesn't give you any hint of what's in this News10 Capitol Connection podcast.  Instead, it's a description of why you're seeing it four days late.

One of the still-being-worked-out kinks in a video podcast is the size of video files when it comes to using our News10 server.  And on Thursday, August 16... well... we just talked for too long.

As such, this podcast had to ultimately be split into three parts.

Anthony York of the Los Angeles Times and I discuss Gov. Jerry Brown rolling out his tax initiative campaign; the bubbling battle between Brown's camp and that of backers for Proposition 38; the money being raised to fight the food labeling Proposition 37; and the 'live or die' status of bills in the final three weeks of the two year legislative session.

As I said, perhaps we waxed on too long this time. Duly noted.
